Jerusalem artichoke is a staple for the raw material base of healthy food, beverages, feed, medicine, and fuel, in addition to being source its herbage tubers. The choice conditions cultivating variety depends on purpose or direction crop products obtained from it. This research involved laboratory on-farm studies 16 varieties different maturity groups cultivated sod-podzolic sandy loam soils determine their suitability further use feed production. list question presented this work. gross yield tubers with early leaf wilting was 33.1–51.1 t/ha, whereas that late 14.4–43.9 t/ha. total biomass 36.8–98.1 Moreover, had dominant mass value structure (68%), (59%) prevailed wilting. highest solids (25.0–26.4%) were found Korenevskiy, Novost VIRa, Blank Brekos; high inulin content Dieticheskiy, Kaluzhskiy, Nakhodka, Brekos. aggregate amounted 37.0–103.4 thousand MJ/ha metabolized energy; exceeded energy production costs properly selected by two- three-fold. data can be useful growers introduction evaluation usage processing, including fodder purposes.
